Research purchases, rewarded.
Earn points on eligible merchandise and apply them to a future order from your VRL account.
How it works
A straightforward points system

Shop while signed in
Eligible account orders earn 1 point for each whole $1 of merchandise paid after discounts and redeemed rewards.
- 02
Points become available
Points are added when your order reaches processing. Guest researchers can create an account from the order confirmation page to claim that order's points.
- 03
Apply points at checkout
Choose any available whole-point amount that keeps at least $19.99 of post-discount merchandise in the cart.
The value standard
What counts
- Eligible merchandise
- Product amounts actually paid after sale pricing, bundles, coupons, and rewards.
- Excluded amounts
- Shipping, tax, shipping protection, other fees, free items, and zero-priced lines.
- Cancellations and refunds
- Redeemed points are returned for refunded merchandise, while points earned from that merchandise are removed. A refund can make a balance negative if earned points were already spent.
- $19.99 merchandise floor
- After coupons and rewards, an order must retain at least $19.99 of merchandise. Shipping, tax, protection, and fees cannot satisfy the floor.

Researcher Rewards questions
Can I claim points after placing an order?
Only from the order confirmation page immediately after a guest order. Otherwise, shop while signed in so points are attached automatically. Once you leave the confirmation page, unclaimed points cannot be added later by Researcher Support.
Do points expire?
No. Researcher Rewards points do not expire.
Can rewards be combined with a coupon?
Yes. Rewards can be used after eligible coupons and bundle pricing, subject to the $19.99 merchandise floor.
Can points be transferred?
No. Points belong to the account that earned them and cannot be transferred.
